POY (Partially Oriented Yarn) is a polyester filament yarn that is produced with a partially aligned molecular structure. This degree of molecular irregularity results in higher elongation and makes the yarn ideal for further processing into various other types, including:

• Fully Drawn Yarn (FDY)
• Textured Yarn (DTY)
• Air Textured Yarn (ATY)
• Industrial Textured Yarn (ITY)

In 2010, Dastaranj Rezabaft launched its melt-spinning POY production hall with a capacity of 120 tons per day. Plans for doubling the capacity are currently underway. All equipment used in this production line has been sourced from Germany and Italy.

The company can produce yarns with special cross-sectional shapes such as Trilobal, Hollow, PIus, and Coolmaxand … each offering distinct characteristics. By incorporating specialized masterbatches, the factory is capable of producing yarns with antibacterial, UV-resistant, phosphorescent (glow-in-the-dark;…) and other functional properties.
